Pál Gregorics, the old, lonely eccentric, died and left behind a legendary fortune. At least that's what the city - Bestzerve - knew, and that's what the dead nabob's brothers believed as well. They attacked the heritage with a greedy desire for treasure - but found nothing at the place of the supposed golden mountain. Where did the Czech domain go, where did the wealth go? He disappeared, as if he had never been. It was! György Wibra, the famous young lawyer from Bézterce, son of Gregorics' servant, finds a clue: the old gentleman converted all his wealth into a bank voucher so that his greedy brothers couldn't get their hands on it - and the voucher was meant for him. He sets out to find his inheritance, but he finds a more valuable treasure: the loving heart of a girl.
